ZipScore

ZipScore models a freestyle competition as a nested hierarchy. Each level below contains the next.

1. Season — a competitive year (e.g. 2025/26) grouping its competitions.
2. Competition — a named gathering (e.g. “Eastern Junior Championships”) holding one or more events.
3. Event — one discipline, one gender within a competition — moguls, aerials, park & pipe, or duals. All scoring happens here.
4. Phase — a stage of the event: Qualification (Q1/Q2) then optionally Finals.
5. Run — one athlete’s single trip down the course, within a round of a phase.
6. Athlete · Judge · Score — an athlete performs a run; judges rate turns, air and (for moguls) speed; the score is the computed result.
